Memorial Weekend Soccer in Connecticut

FC North and Sporting CT are proud to come together to host the annual Memorial Weekend Tournament, bringing competitive boys and girls teams from throughout Connecticut and the Northeast together for a great weekend of soccer.

Designed to provide a high-quality competitive experience across multiple age groups, the tournament also provides older teams with an excellent opportunity to compete in a showcase environment as players prepare for the next level.

Memorial Day Weekend 2027
📅 Dates: 5/29 – 5/30 (Thursday/Friday game options for local teams)
📍 Locations: Sportsworld, Sporting CCR Complex, Manchester
⚽ Age Groups & Divisions: U8-U19

No games are expected to be played on Memorial Day.

A Competitive Northeast Tournament

The FC North & Sporting CT Memorial Weekend Tournament is designed to attract quality teams and create competitive, appropriately matched games throughout the weekend.

Previous events have welcomed teams competing across some of the region’s leading platforms, including Girls Academy, MLS NEXT, ECNL, DPL, National League and EDP.

Our goal is simple: create a first-class tournament experience with strong competition, quality facilities and an environment that players, coaches and families look forward to returning to each Memorial Day Weekend.

College Showcase Opportunity

For our older age groups, Memorial Weekend provides more than another tournament.

The event is designed to provide senior teams with an opportunity to play meaningful, competitive matches in a showcase environment as players continue preparing for collegiate soccer.

Additional information regarding 2027 showcase divisions and college coach attendance will be announced as the event approaches.
