FC North is proud to compete in the Development Player League (DPL), a national girls platform focused on developing players through meaningful competition, quality environments and opportunities to reach the next level.
Through its formal alignment with the Girls Academy (GA), DPL provides a connected development environment that expands opportunities for female players while supporting long-term growth both on and off the field.

A NATIONAL PLATFORM FOR PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
The Development Player League is a national girls competition platform built around creating high-quality environments where players can develop, compete and pursue their individual goals.
DPL provides competitive league play along with showcase and national event opportunities designed to challenge players and increase exposure.
For FC North, DPL provides another important piece of our girls pathway — giving players a competitive environment that emphasizes development, opportunity and continued progression.

A MORE CONNECTED PATHWAY FOR FEMALE PLAYERS
The Development Player League and Girls Academy have established a formal alignment designed to create greater connectivity and opportunity within the female youth soccer landscape.
The relationship brings the two organizations closer together around player development, competition, talent identification and opportunities for players to progress within the broader Girls Academy ecosystem.
For FC North, having teams participating across DPL, GA Inspire and GA Aspire allows us to provide more female players with high-quality competitive environments while keeping development at the center of the experience.
